Privacy Policy
This policy covers the game Aurelian: Watch Shop Tycoon and this website. It says what we collect, why we collect it, who else sees it, and how to make us delete it.
Effective 13 September 2026. Version 1.1.
Who we are
The game is published by Bandor Management FZCO, trading as AceKross Studios, Premises No. 30875-001, IFZA Business Park, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, trade licence 30875. We are the controller of the data described here.
Write to us at support@acekross.com about anything in this policy.
What this policy covers
Aurelian: Watch Shop Tycoon for Android, package com.aurelian.watchmaker, distributed through Google Play, and the pages on acekross.com.
This website collects nothing. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no trackers. The only third party involved is Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used on these pages and receives your IP address in order to do so.
There is no account, and we never ask who you are
You do not sign up to play. You do not give us a name, an email address or a password. The first time the game runs it makes up a random player ID for itself. That ID is how we tell one anonymous player's activity from another's. It is not linked to your name, your device identifiers, your phone number or any account. We do attach it to the gameplay and crash data the game sends us, so that one player's events can be grouped together, and it is erased if you uninstall the game or ask us to delete your data.
We never collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, contacts, photos, precise location, or health data. The names you type in the game for your maison and your characters never leave your device.
What we do collect
How you play
Events describing what happens in the game: which watch parts you chose, in-game currency earned and spent, the day and wave you reached, screens you opened, taps, purchases attempted against the in-game economy, how far you got in the tutorial, and how long a session lasted. Each event carries the player ID, a session ID, a session number, a timestamp, the app version, the version of the in-game economy, your platform, how many days it has been since you installed, which side of an A/B test you are on, and where you stand in the game: the day number, the tutorial step, your boutique tier and your brand rank.
These events are sent to our own servers, and a copy goes to Google Analytics for Firebase.
Crash diagnostics, through Firebase Crashlytics
If the game crashes or hits an error, Firebase Crashlytics records the error and a technical stack trace, tagged with your anonymous player ID, so we can fix it. This is sent to Google.
Your device, through Google Analytics for Firebase
Your device model, operating system version, app version, language, timezone, screen size, an installation identifier generated by Firebase, your advertising ID, and an approximate location, meaning the country or region that Google derives from your IP address. Not a GPS position.
Where you came from, through AppsFlyer
If you installed the game after seeing one of our ads, our measurement partner AppsFlyer records that: your advertising ID, your IP address, your device model and operating system, the campaign and the ad network credited with the install, and the times of the click and the install. AppsFlyer also sees when you open the game, which is how an install stays attributed to a campaign for a limited window.
There are no ads inside Aurelian: Watch Shop Tycoon, and no advertising SDK runs in the game. Advertising data exists here for one reason only, which is to know whether the ads we buy elsewhere are working.
What is not in the game today
Push notifications and cloud save are not built into the current build, and no real-money purchases are processed yet. When any of that ships, this policy gets updated first.
Why we collect it
- To make the game work and make it better. Seeing where players get stuck or stop playing is how a tutorial gets fixed and an economy gets balanced.
- To know whether our advertising is worth the money. Attribution tells us which campaign brought which installs, in aggregate.
- To keep things running safely, including spotting abuse, fraud and technical faults.
Where the law of your country requires a legal basis, ours is our legitimate interest in running and improving a game we publish, and your consent where consent is required for advertising measurement on your device.
Who else sees it
| Recipient | What they get | Why |
|---|---|---|
| AceKross Studios (Bandor Management FZCO) | Your gameplay events and the crash diagnostics tied to your player ID | We receive and store your gameplay events on our own servers, hosted on Google Cloud (BigQuery, United States). Google Cloud is our hosting provider and acts as our processor; we are the controller of this data. |
| Google (Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Play) | A copy of the gameplay events, device information, installation identifier, advertising ID, approximate location, crash reports | Analytics and crash reporting. Google processes this under its own terms as well as ours. |
| AppsFlyer | Advertising ID, IP address, device information, install and attribution data | Measuring which advertising brought which installs. |
| The ad network credited with your install, such as Google Ads or Meta | Confirmation that an install and, later, an in-game milestone followed one of their ads | So that network can measure its own campaign. This is how mobile advertising measurement works. |
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with data brokers.
Where your data is kept
On our own servers hosted on Google Cloud in the United States, on Google's own Firebase infrastructure, and on AppsFlyer's servers. We are established in the United Arab Emirates, so data collected in the game is handled by a company outside your country if you play from elsewhere. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and want to know more about the safeguards that apply to that transfer, write to us and we will tell you what is in place at the time you ask.
How long we keep it
We keep your gameplay and crash data until you ask us to delete it, by emailing support@acekross.com. There is no fixed expiry. Google and AppsFlyer apply their own retention periods to the copies they hold.
What you can do
- Have your data deleted. See Delete my data. It takes an email.
- Ask what we hold on you, or ask us to correct or restrict it. Write to support@acekross.com.
- Reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings, under Privacy and then Ads. Deleting it stops the advertising ID being collected at all.
- Uninstall the game. That removes your player ID and your saved progress from the device, though it does not by itself erase events already sent.
- Complain to a regulator in your country if you think we have handled your data badly. We would rather you told us first.
Children
Aurelian: Watch Shop Tycoon is made for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13, or under 16 where local law sets that age. If you believe a child has been playing and we hold their data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
When what we collect changes, this page changes first, and the version and date at the top change with it. Significant changes will also be described in the game's release notes on Google Play.
